Mali Chic Restaurant in Kata Beach

Русские загадили весь пляж . Бычки , бутылки и тд . It was a nice beach but unfortunately Russian (special from deepest regions from Russia ) polluted whole beach. Cigarettes, bottles and other garbage...Sad...

The beach is beautiful, especially with Poo Island just off the shore. However, the entire place is covered in dog feces. So very super gross. We did not get in the water or lie on the sand - thank goodness!

Beautiful beach with some of the cleanest water... definitely a family beach and great restaurants everywhere you go...lots of foriegn people and no harassment from thai people... highly recommend this beach to family goers... one of the best in phuket!

The water is beautiful and the sand is so white... Only downside is some parts of the beach are too busy. Go towards the middle, you will have little bar on one side, beer is cold and cheap. On the other side by the Ska Bar, you can snorkel.

Nice beach, quite calm. If you bring food, you might have some local dogs approaching you. There is jetski to rent, some other things to do. But mostly just lay down on the beach and enjoy view. 98% of all tourist are russians. So if you are from Russia you might find some friends to spend time with.

Its one of easily accessible beach of phuket. The beach is not that much large but its good. There are so many fantastic hotels near the beach

Great beach. Many visitors but not crowded. Plenty of space. Plenty of sun. Outdoor restaurant north and south of the beach is the most accessible food stalls, seems like people concentrate on these areas. The middle stretch was less concentrated. Compared to karon beach, more people but less business nearby.

Nice nad cosy beach, much nicer than Karon which this year i was very disappointed on because I felt like in Russia... kata much cleaner and more cosy!

Good option rather than patong beach

beach seemed very busy there where longboats and jet skis in the same space as swimmers, which is a bit odd? Beach is very popular with families tho

If you are lucky to find a parking spot, this beach is worth going to. Be sure to bring your own food, water, and snacks as there are no places to eat that is on the beach like that we saw. The water at this beach is pretty shallow. The swimming area is roped off. The water is greenish-blue and clear!

Relaxing safe beach

One of the best beaches in Phuket. We went around on moppats to experience different beaches each day but we ended up coming back to Kata several times. just be careful of the para sailing people with their robes when they go up or down. Stay far.

Crowded, especially during high season but anyway you can find a good place.Beach is clean, water is nice.Strongly recommended to visit.

One of the nicer beaches. Also great sun lounger guy. Really helpful guy constantly comes and adjusts the umbrellas to make sure sun not burning you. On weekends there is great food stalls. Try the deep fried crab sandwiches omdz

Amazing family beach! We were staying at OZO Hotel & luckily the Kata Beach was just walking distance, it is a very family oriented, clean, cozy & not crowded. Once you arrive all you have to do is rent a sun-bed with shade (100 baht per one) and then a get cold fresh fruits smoothies or coco-nut juices (60 baht each and 20 baht for water) and then enjoy the golden sand and crystal water. Kids enjoyed it very much, just make sure you get put enough sun-block as we all got sun-burn from the direct-sun without noticing. You can book some rides and water-sports activities from there, just make sure you bargain and negotiate, usually they ask higher so there is always a room for a discount.

Beautiful beach and much better than Patong beach. Less crowded

The beach is more commercial and crowded than nai harn. This didn't bother us since it's huge and there's plenty of place for everyone. We got a couple of umbrellas for shade and there was plenty of fresh fruit available for lunch. The water is deliciously cold and the sand is soft and white. Highly recommend spending a day here.

I have been there and it is beautiful. I took some surf lesson and it is very good if you start learning surfing because the waves are not that big so it is good to start surfing. Also the water is amazing: clear and beautiful. Other activities are offered too. Everything is so laid-back there and you can just enjoy and destress

Lots of people in places as well as marine traffic, however, clean water, safe & patrolled beach. Recommended for family.

Nice beach with lots of sand. Super busy during the busy season at day time. Great for night walks and has a local pig. Many stingers in the sea tho

Nice beach. Non smoking entire and very clean. You can buy drinks at nearby kiosk or even cheaper at 60m supermarket. A bit crowded 15:00-17:30. 2 Sun beds with umbrella will cost you 200baht. Fair price for such as beautiful place.

Best among the three major tourist beaches in Phuket. Peaceful & not very busy during the off season.
